can a bank take a claim check that was issured for roof repairs?
received ins. check to repair kitchen,problem was the roof but the ins. co. would not cover a roof but covered the kit. now boa will not release the check intill give them a c-9 ? for the kit. that was complete 5 years ago[wilma] all who worked on project are not to be found.I owo the bank money but am in prosess of the home redention program..my roof leaks bad and need he cash bad to repair the leak befor more damage to kitcken

FIRST ANSWER
Skeeter, usually the insurance company makes a check out to you and the bank. The bank needs to endorse the check, so you can cash it for the repairs.
