What is the best way to reach local realtors. We install and remove oil tanks, which can hold up closings. We are westchester NY.

Consider visiting local realty offices and inform them of your services, leave fliers, business cards, etc.; most of the larger offices do hold weekly staff meetings, ask if you can be a guest speaker for one of those meetings...

You may want to list your company in the real estate directory on the REO Prep site. By doing this you will have a listing with your company information, email, web link etc directly in front of 500,000 active real estate agents nationwide.

Hi Wayne. My office, William Raveis Legends Realty Group, is located on Main Street in Tarrytown. This is one of our three offices located throughout Westchester. We find when businesses come into our office with flyers, brochures and informative papers, we will display them in our office for any clients. We like having tangible advertising rather than e-mails. Much of the time, e-mails get thrown into spam and ignored. I think your best option is to visit the local real estate offices with your information.

Hope to see you soon!

One other way is to participate in the Realtor appreciation day done by the Westchester Putnam Association of Realtors. It attracts hundreds and hundreds of Realtors from the area. They have vendors from around the area offering services from mortgages to mold removal. It would be a great way to promote your business. Additionally, there is a merger in process with the Rockland and Orange county boards which will bring the membership of the combined organization up to about 9,500 Realtors. Call WPAR for more information about the next event.

Visiting offices is one approach. I suggest calling the office manages and suggesting a presentation at their office meeting and then offering an introductory incentive. Many of the companies are franchises but some are corporate owned and then you can go to the senior level management.

Good luck.

Out here on the Left Coast;
We hold weekly meeting of the MLS, at the MLS office.

We talk about things and every week we have a guest speaker:
Contact them and see if you can make a presenttation.
We call these people "AFFILIATES" and we want to work with them because it benefits our clients.

Good luck and may God bless

Visiting local real estate offices as Anna said is a great way to do this. Whatever you do, do NOT send unsolicited email.

you can probably get that information from the local realtor organizations, or the Yellow pages.
