Too many variables for us Realtors to answer that one. You will need to talk with a contractor and tell them what you want. Do you have to add space or just use what you have? Tub? Shower? Both? Double sink or single? Vinyl or tile? Could be $5k or it could be $20k.

Hello Brent,
I think that we are all in agreement here that the cost depends on the size of the bathroom, scope of work performed, and the type of materials used. Designer upgrades vs. middle of the road or low-end materials. As others have quoted: $5K-$20K would be the cost depending on the size and quality of materials.
Do contact a few contractors to get a few estimates as they vary.
Good luck!

Hi, The prices will vary based on the size, Tile work, finishings, etc. I would have three reputable contractors come in and give youe estimates.

Brent it clearly deoends on what you want to add... toilet, sink, stand up shower, tub, tub and shower enclosure, jacuzzi, ceramic tile, fiberglass and on and on... it also matters what was tthere before and if there is already plumbuing or no plumbing and how easy it will be to bring that plumbing in. Cost could be form $1000 for 1/2 bath to $10,000. Most contractors will give a free estimate to help you

Brent - it all depends on your location and the current value of remodeled homes in your area. Consider looking at CostVsValue dot com. It's a great tool I use for my buyers and sellers when they want to consider what it would cost to remodel or renovate and also gives them a pretty accurate indication of return on their investment.

Good luck!

Tim is on the money here! Size of the Bathroom(not mentioned) important as well. Complete "gut job" should be around 10k for a real nice Bathroom
