Chris,

I would recommend you contact the Center for Sacramento History. http://www.cityofsacramento.org/ccl/history. Formley known at the City Archives they have lots of old photos, newspaper articles, etc of the City and you can do a search based on your address.

If you want to email me directly at sacramentohomes@gmail.com with your address I can do a search for you.

Good luck!

K.

It might be possible to make an accurate guess with a little more information. What neighborhood are you in, what style of home is it, etc?

Hi Chris. Unfortunately, when your home was built in 1915, building permits were not standard the way they are today. Not sure why you need to know the shape of the original columns. Is it for restoration purposes? Are there maybe any pictures available from way back then? Sorry I can't be of more help.

Go to the Department of Building and Safety in Sacramento they may have the information from when the original permits were pulled: Here's the site: http://www.cityofsacramento.org/dsd/building/permits/plans.cfm
