Unfortunately I'm on the other side of the country, so I don't have any good referrals for you or know how much the building costs per sq. ft. are out there, but I'd like to take this opportunity to ask you to consider building GREEN! Building green (with solar/wind power, sustainable materials, low VOC paints, etc.) is no longer more expensive than building the "old-fashioned" way.

You may want to check out some of the green building groups in your area. On of them has a Facebook fan page (called Emerging Green Builders - Spokane) you might want to check out.

I would also suggest you check out the U.S. Green Building Council, as they have a wealth of information. Their website can be found at the link below.
