Ringgold is wonderful for me and my family. It feels rural in some ways because it was farm country that has developed into a busy community with a lot going for it. It adjoins the largest Civil War Battlefield Park in the country. It has hills and valleys, farms, modern home neighborhoods with every amenity and several new schools. There are several acres that have been developed into a civic community containing a library, a learning center, a health center, a Veterans Memorial, an amphitheater and a wonderful building called the Colonnade. The Colonnade is a state of the art theater, a facility for large meetings, banquets, wedding receptions, etc.. It has a regular schedule of professionally performed plays and events.
As if this isn't enough Ringgold is a bedroom community to Chattanooga, TN which has everything you could ever want. First rate hospitals, many venues for art and culture, a symphony orchestra, a university, a downtown with a river running through it and TN largest mall. Ringgold has it all. The best asset Ringgold can boast of is its people. There is a close knit community atmosphere and many caring people.
