Chris,
I don;t know if this will help but sometimes we have to go on a treasure hunt and make a call to find another place to make a call.
I found this site, surely these parents are of young adults as well as children and can give you some advice.
I certainly hope so.

Good luck with your search. As it happens we have a special needs adult son. services tend to dry up after age 21 and it does require some special effort to find opportuniies. We have been fortunate to find an employer who is pro active in hireing the disabled. The employer was found via a state sponsered employment program here in Pa. We suggest that you star by checking with the Texas Workforce Commission for programs geared to disabled adults. Also check out the local ARC (association for retarded citizens)office. Even if your son does'nt qualify they may know of other local resources for you to investigate. Also check out the Flower Mound town website for community resources, they do have them.Finnaly network ask everyone in similar circumstances what tey do. We have been fortunate to find a couple of social groups for our son that were initiated by other frustrated parents. Again good luck to you we understand your frustration.j
