Follow the link for the Oregon database of sex offenders

Looks like everyone has some great answers to this question. Just one little tid-bit I have an Iphone and there is a great app on there for offenders. It's great for your clients, it uses your current location so if you're at a particular home you can do a search right there at the home to show your clients (or not) LOL, depending on your results could be one more obstacle in the process but good to know. Even in the best of the best neighborhoods, there's always offenders every where.

You can go to the state or county websites - they actually have addresses of where the crimes have been committed. I see with the answers below you already have the websites. I hope you get the info you need.

Portland Monthly Magazine has crime statistics by community, including Hillsboro at http://www.portlandmonthlymag.com/real-estate/articles/neigh…

http://www.city-data.com has an incredible amount of data by zip, though I don't believe it includes crime rates.

The State of Oregon sex offender web site can be searched by zip code: http://sexoffenders.oregon.gov/

Finally, I have been told by people who know more about this than I do that because sex offenders are many times subject to such harsh treatment by neighbors, they move without updating their address.

Trulia didn't allow my links without some other text http://www.beavertonpolice.org/crime/maps_stats.aspx#nac
or http://www.portlandmaps.com

Also try Portland Map site, it had data for other crimes and a larger area than just Portland. Good place to start.
