We just moved to unincorporated Long Grove and have well water but city sewer. I would not worry too much about well water but I would NEVER be on a septic system. Our community has everything set up for city water but our builder says it will be a few years at least. We spent a few thousand dollars to add filtration systems and our water quality seems to be fine. I hope that helps.

All of Kildeer is well water except a new subdivision being built at the northeast corner of Quentin & Rt 22 called Kildeer Estates. They range in price from $600,000-$700,000. The school districts there are district 96 & Stevenson High school. All of Long Grove is well water except a small area that is considered unincorporated Long Grove just north of the Gilmer/Midlothian intersection in a subdivision called Indian Creek Club. Part of Indian Creek Club attends Stevenson and part attends Mundelein High School. The price range of homes in Indian Creek Club range from $400,000-$700,000.
