Most of the original homes were built in late 40's to mid 50's. However the majority of smaller homes have been torn down and replaced with larger homes within the last 12 years or so..new homes in the trees will run $2,600,000-$3,750,000

The Manhattan Beach tree section is truly a lovely neighborhood. The area maintains a countryside feel as all streets have lots of trees and over the years the residents have rejected the idea of sidewalks to keep that rural flavor. Many homes in the area are within walking distance of downtown and Live Oak Park which is an added bonus.
