When will they move the Dump site in Alviso and Dixon Landing?

Milpitas, CA

Thank goodness we don't live in Milpitas, however, the smell is so strong that the wind direction some days does drift into nearby cities. I am appalled that some realtors and residents are saying that you'll get used to the smell! That's so unconscionable since it can't be very healthy to be living with that smell all year round, especially for kids! But I guess if you live there, you don't have a choice. I'm just embarassed to bring out-of-town visitors to dine in Milpitas; that's such a shame since it is a very nice, diverse city with lots of ethnic restaurants and groceries. I sincerely hope the City of Milpitas will get rid of the Dump site soon; it's about time!. I bet real estate prices will increase if they remove that Dump site somewhere else far away. It's about time the homeowners of Milpitas care about the environmental hazards. After all, this is not some 3rd world city, it's Silicon Valley with smart professionals with young kids! Thoughts/ideas for solution?
