What is the racial make-up of the Pottsville area, and are the 'locals' generally open to Latinos?

There is a chance that my family and I will re-locate to the Pottsville area. I am concerned with my son attending H.S.. He is darker in complexion and thin. I have heard a number of negative opinions about the Coal Region, but am unsure.

Hola Senior!

Que passa? .... just a note. The Licensed Real Estate agent can have their licensed suspended or revolked if we even talk about racial profile or what areas are racial mixed etc. No kidding. However Havena had a good idea and you can of course use the Internet search engines to find out more.

One thing that may help is to do a search for a local agent who know the area well, a long time resident.

I feel for you and wish you all the best luck,
