Take a look at Pirate Harbor. It is a hidden beauty in Punta gorda. All of the 8 streets are canal lots that will take you direclty into the Gulf of Mexico. It is a great time to buy as financing rates are low and prices are low. Call me Susan Penn, EWM Realtor at 954-557-5993 and I will give you more information. I have a lot for sale on the nicest street in the subdivision. The homes are key west style, the neighbors are extremely friendly, the sun is usually shinning and there is the world's best tarpon fishing. http://www.susanpenn.com , penn.s@ewm.com

Hi Charles. Charlotte County is located on the west coast of Florida between Fort Myers and Sarasota and is the most affordable coastal community in Southwest Florida to buy or build your dream home in a tropical paradise. I believe that Genevieve has got it right that Punt Gorda is the best place to live. I personally prefer Punta Gorda Isles with it's quick access to Charlotte Harbor via a beautiful and well maintained deep water canal system. There is also the Fishermens Village, the Isles Yacht Club, St. Andrews Golf Course, and the wonderful homes and shops in the downtown historic district. This is an excellent time to buy and I hope that you will give me a call when you are ready to make the move! Thanks.

Good Morning Charles,

How are you? I do hope you are having a pleasant weekend.

As a resident of Deed Restricted Burnt Store Isles (in Punta Gorda ) I can honestly say this is the best place to be. Punta Gorda is a laid back small city with as much to do as you would like. You can live as laid back a life or as active a lifestyle as you want. We have easy access to beaches, museums, art galleries, performance arts, golf, boating, fishing and most relaxing entertainment.

Fred has given you good websites to research. However I am partial to Punta Gorda.

Call or email me for any specific information you need on this area. We have some great buys as you are well aware of and would be happy to give you more information.

Look forward to hearing from you.
