Vacaville "Country" Internet Providers

Deborah
Home Buyer
Oakland, CA

This is an odd real estate question BUT, I am looking at "country property" between 80 and 505 between Midway and Allendale. I work from home so "reliable" internet is a must. I have contacted Verizon, ATT, and Comcast and they do not provide services to that area. I also have contacted Hughes and Wild Blue but I hear terrible things about Satellite connection. So...on that note, before I move, I was hoping someone could give me some good first hand information on who may be able to provide that service. The only other option is an Air Card but I am afraid I would go over the 5 GB limit.. Thanks...Deb

FIRST ANSWER

Hello Deborah,

Since you are looking for first hand information I can tell you that I have used the SprintPCS aircard throughout the delta (even occasionally on the Delta while boating). I had an unlimited data plan which ran $60/Month. This is a viable option for a single computer.

I have included the SprintPCS coverage map (each carrier has their own) which should help determine coverage areas as you shop for that perfect "country home".

Sincerely,
