Good Morning. We cannot comment on the desirability of an area, nor steer you towards any particular neighborhood. You should contact local precincts for crime statistics, talk with residents, sit in on class sessions at potential schools, and visit neighborhoods at different times of the day. It is truly up to you as the purchaser, to find the neighborhood that you want to live in, so be sure to complete your due diligence.

I hope this answered your question! If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me by the ways below.

Wishing you all the best,

Dear Sir/Madam,

In Miami the areas which are best to raise kids are probably Coral Gables, Pinecrest, South Miami and the Grove

Here is why:
Lots of Singly family homes in a safe area and some of the States' best schools (eg Gullivers at Pinecrest)

Please call me or email me at 305 508 0899 or siddons.d@ewm.com for more information

We may not be able to answer questions regarding "desirability" of any particular area as agents, but we can direct you towards sources that give you relevant crime/demographic information. Trulia itself has an excellent feature in which you can see the areas with low and high crime in a color coded map. Just put a particular address into the Trulia system and then scroll down to check out crime and demographics. The system makes it easy for each consumer to make their own informed decisions.

When you look at these sources I pointed out above, Coral Gables appears to have the most families, which probably answers your question in regards to what a lot of other consumers think. Also, property values (something we can comment freely on) are always high there, which is an indicator of the stability and positive characteristics of the city.

Hope that helps.

Xamasantix, the best way to see if you fit in a neighborhood is to SEE it for your self. What works for me would be considered a dead bore by most of my friends. And I could never live where they do.

As licensees we are urged not to answer questions of this nature. Although, you can visit http://www.city-data.com and search the areas that you have already contemplated. We as agents are more than happy to show you the active listings in different areas and you can do your home work as to what area you feel would be best to raise children.

My suggestion to you is: If you find a home you like find out when the local crime watch meeting will take place. You will be surrounded by people who can answer your questions best because they live in the area.

If you have any further questions you may reach me at 786-465-FAST (3278) or by email: Jonathan@resf.com

Good Luck!

The best way to do that is to get a police report on the neighborhoods you are interested in.

The question is subjective; therefore if unfamiliar with the area do take the time and revisit more than once and at different times of day; check out all that is important to you, then decide if your comfort level will be reached...

In reference to designate an area good for raise kids, our community, Real Estate Agents are here just to guide you in a Real Estate transaction in a neighborhood where you want to live. In the event you are looking for Miami-Dade Schools and Rated as per scholarship job, them you can find it at
