Jed and Sally, Both of your answers were great, thanks! -My business will be a retail organization that

operates online. I'll be affiliated with a non-profit organization, and a significant portion of the sales would translate directly into dontations for the organization. I was looking to rent a larger apartment (1 or 2 bedroom) to store a sizeable inventory and use as an office. -I'm trying to solve the problem of not being able to afford a regular apartment & a commercial space by using a live-work zoned area as a tax write off. I AM also renting a 'desk area' in a commercially zoned building to upload content and satisfy zoning laws. If I use that address as my commercially-zoned 'office' can I still write off a porion of my apartment for the storage? -even if it's not live-work zoned? If you have time, your advice is really appreciated. Your input will help me to determine where I'll settle. (I'm hoping to move in about a month) Thanks again,
Dana
