it is very expensive. You should make at least $80k-100k to stay afloat. You could rent a house cheaper than buying one. There are drugs and weapons available to kids in this area.

It is very expensive and employment is limited. The University and Government are the big employers along with local schools.

Santa Barbara is a great area for families and children. The town has a very healthy outdoor lifestyle promoting hiking, walking, biking, swimming, ocean sports etc. The communities within our town are also very strong and supportive of young families.

Santa Barbara is a great place to raise your children. The city is safe, friendly, and offers many attractions, both natural and man-made. The beaches are popular hang-outs as well as the variety of parks and hiking trails. The School systems are fantastic in Santa Barbara, which is to be expected with the affluence of the area.
