Larkspur is great for families. Weather, schools and outdoor activities. The best weather and the best schools, along with access to the trails on Mt. Tamalpais, the walking trail that cuts across town from north to south, and three parks, the tiny, redwood tree shrouded Dolliver Park, the other small Heatherwood Park, and the huge Piper Park with playing fields and open skies.

The schools and the community are a draw to Larkspur. Joe Wagner Little League field is a focal part of the community. The Larkspur Library may be the most comfortable library you could read a book in. Larkspur Parks and Rec provides classes and events geared for kids and families. The Larkspur Centennial is currently in it's planning stages for 2008.
