Hi JP,

I'm a real estate broker who grew up in Bedford Stuyvesant. There was a time when the neighborhood had a notorious history of criminality. However, over the last 12 or so years, the neighborhood has transformed itself into one of New York City's most desired neighborhoods to live in, and Brooklyn's fastest growing neighborhood.

Not to mention it's growing international reputation, as more and more people from Japan and Europe have made Bedford Stuyvesant a place to plant roots away from home,

But don't take my word for it. Visit the following web sites to learn more about the neighborhood: http://www.CorleyRE.com, http://www.bedstuyblog.com and shopbedstuy.com.
