I recently moved to the Ozarks. I know of several people who have also recently moved to the Springfield area and enjoy what this area has to offer. The weather is typical midwest with four seasons. Because we are located in the lower half of the US we have longer falls and milder winters. I did check health food stores and found 13 in Springfield. I am sure that there are several in Nixa, Ozark, Republic, etc. The Springfield area is rich in culture. Are you referring to Ozark, MO, near Springfield? I can get you in touch with a couple good friends that live in that area. I actually lived in Branson for a few months and LOVED it. The people are very genuine, and more relaxed than most places. It's a fun place to hang out and very, very beautiful at Table Rock Lake, which is about 30 minutes from you. Plus, you got Springfield about 10 minutes from you, which has tons of shopping, entertainment, restaurants, etc.
