If you are interested in West Palm Beach and are on a budget, I suggest Century Village. It is a very large gated community with pools, a movie theater, clubhouses, etc on the grounds. They also have community buses to take you shopping, etc. If you need more information, please contact me at:

i agree with Marilyn that Renessaince Commons is the best place in Boynton Beach to purchase a condo. EVERYTHING you need is within walking distance, movie theatre, boynton beach mall, every store and resturaunt you can think of...the clubhouse is also breathtaking

i personally have a 1 bedroom brand new condo for sale in there. it is 4th floor end unit overlooking the private pool and is located right next to your parking space. selling for $150K. will help with closing costs if needed. call me if interested

If you are intrested in the Delray Beach area there is a community called Kings Point with numerous on site activities as daily transportation. Also Delray Grande is a newer community with transportation as well. I would be happy to email you any of these properties and may contact me at 561-573-7540 or toll free 1-888-816-8693.

Steven,
Kings Point in Sun City Center, between Sarasota and Tampa offers a "free" bus service that takes residents to shopping, club houses, medical facilities and even to outlying shopping areas. For more information about Sun City Center visit my web site http://www.SunCityCenterEguide.com It's not complete by any means but will give you some idea of what is available here. Also check out http://www.1903InvernessGreens.com to see what one of the newer condos looks like. Ron Cress

Steven,

You might want to consider Venice island. there are some very reasonably priced condos in a close proximity to shopping and amenities with public (SCAT) transportation available. The island is a popular location because of its slower pace and popular amenities.

Please let us know if you have any additional interest in this location.

Good luck,
The "Eckler Team"

Hey Steve,

I just checked the link and for some reason it did not work on this site. But if you go to my blog, it does work without any problem. It was posted on July 19th.

Let me know if you have a problem.

I think immediately of Renaissance Commons in Boynton Beach. There are many stores right across the street for everything you want, and some within the community. These are newer units and it is a large community. In Boca Raton, the Boca Grande and Palmetto Place, and other smaller older condos are walking distance to Mizner Park, Royal Palm Park and perhaps to 2 dozen plus restaurants, many shoppes and boutiques. In Delray Beach, units off Atlantic Avenue are located near shopping, etc.

Let me know exactly what you are looking for and I'll find you the condo of your dreams. Call Marilyn Jacobs at 561-988-0070 or email marilynfjacobs@gmail.com and I'll send you listings. Give me # bedrooms, # baths, price range and any other criteria to fit what you want and need.

The west coast of Florida also offers many of the new "mixed use" communities. Coconut Point in Estero Florida offers The Residences and Rapallo. The Residences are condominiums located at the Coconut Point Mall and Rapallo is within walking distance to the mall. Rapallo also offers a beach shuttle to Bonita Beach which may be handy if you're not a driver.

If you need further information feel free to ask. I have profiled Rapallo on my blog: http://lifeinbonitasprings.com/rapallo-at-coconut-point-este…

There are condo communities in South Florida that, besides being within walking distance to shopping, etc, also provide bus service to same..The communities I am thinking of also have large active and vibrant clubhouses with gyms, card and art rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, and Broadway style theatres with live shows and movies.
I'd be happy to provide you with more information on those communities if you wish. I specialize in active adult communities in Boca, Delray, and Boynton.
Thanks!!!
