All four Tenafly elementary schools have many after-schoolclubs to choose from such as: pottery, drama, karate, yoga, cooking, dance, jewelry making, American Girl doll, etc. Also check out : http://www.tenafly.k12.nj.us . This is the school district's website. If you want to see the clubs for the different level of schools go to our schools click on either HS, or middle school then go to student activities. For elementary click on the school you are interseted in, then HSA button, from there you can view the after-school-club brochure. Fun theatre experiences might be the Bergen Pac in Englewood, the Ciccone Theatre @Bergen Community College, at http://www.bergen.edu. It's an intimate place and my children have really enjoyed it.

I am a Tenafly resident, have two children in elementary school and LOVE this town. The schools are wonderful as are the people who live here. There are events throughout the year for families and children to participate in. We have soccer, baseball, basketball, football, tennis, swimming, wrestling etc. There also Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Boy Scout troops. This is a great town for a family. When you come to town visit downtown Tenafly. There are usually free parent papers in the shops.
