Many Pre-war buildings (if you are moving into one) with tons of charming details. Easy access to public transportation, though I agree that parking could be a bit tough. I live right there and it is a great neighborhood. Lots of stores,close to the subway and busses and very safe. Also close to the parks and a lot of trees. Great,great neighborhood !

Verrry busy area. I agree with the other answers when they say it is near everything, but it will be VERY hard to find parking or peace and quiet in this area.

this area of the bronx is very nice if you found where to relocate here it's an excellent choice
