Craig,

If you havent already moved to the Brick area, I would recommend it. Its close to the beaches, boardwalks, parks, shopping, everything. Brick has also been voted one of the safest areas to live a few years in a row. It has great schools, I myself am a graduate of them. Its only 45 minutes to Atlantic City and conveniently located between New York City and Philadelphia. It has the best of everything. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Hi Craig
In response to Living in Brick. Brick is a very busy town.More like a city in the center area's as we have a wide range of all stores imaginable. It is a great town to live, play and work in .I have lived in Brick for 20 years.Raised 2 grown daughters of which both still reside here also. There is always something to do and some where to go or just stay in an chill. My last clients from SC there only issue SC versues Brick was the space between houses. They wanted more property between neighbors so they eventually purchased in Howell a town away! It as a win win situation.Any further help I can be please feel free to contact anytime.

Craig,
Brick is a great place to live! I have lived here for about fifteen years and I enjoy it tremendously. The town is safe, schools are great and the prices are reasonable. I have children and my wife and I do lots of fun things with them in the summer. I recently realized that I did more fun things in one day with my family here in Brick then I did in a whole summer growing up in Connecticut! We went crabbing and fishing on the bay, swimming at the beach and enjoyed fireworks and ice cream on the boardwalk. All of these activities were within a few minutes from home. Brick is a big town but it has lots of smaller villages like Lake Riviera, Midstreams, Laurelton etc. It was voted safest city in America last year and we have been in the top five for many years. If you are ever in the area give me a call. I would love to show you around.
John

I don't know if you can call the whole town quaint, but there are many quaint areas. I live in a waterfront home in the Breton Woods Community. We have a fun property owners association with large club house, beach and dock. There are many activities such as a pig roast, and clam bake. Our association also hopes to have a pool this Summer. Our community is family oriented affordable, has the lowest taxes and is a walking and bike around area. From our waterfront home we can walk to food shop, got to a bakery, pizza place, dunkin, or go to a restaurant, etc. without having to cross a major street.

My wife and I are trying to sell one of our homes and I created a website 49edwardsroad.com that features a section on Brick with many local informative links. I also have a short history of Breton Woods with pictures. Best of luck. I'm sure you will enjoy the area if you decide to move here.

Hello Craig,

Brick has been named the safest town as some mentioned here and it has many attributes that make it appealing to buyers. As a resident I enjoyed the restaurants (mom& pop places like George's), my mom loves the shopping, I have good things to say about the hospital and Brick is so conveniently located near to Point Pleasant and the Garden State Pkwy. I am also very fond of the Brick Beaches.

If you are planning a move to the area, best of luck and nice town!

Craig....I am originally from North Jersey and have lived in Brick now for 10 years. I would never move back up north. Keep in mind that I am not a beach, boat, fisherman type person at all. The way of life down here is just different then up north in a way that is hard to explain. Along with your in the middle of everywhere so your not too far from NY,Atlantic City,Philadelphia and your bonus is the beach which is 15 minutes or less depending where in Brick you live.
