How diverse is the town of Bishop with gay and lesbian folk

FIRST ANSWER
Unfortunately, not very. I was born here and I can tell you that there are a lot of very hypocritical, judgemental, closed-minded people here. That's not to say that there aren't any accepting people here (like myself). But I have two immediate family members who are gay; they were born and raised here, and as soon as they were 18, got out of dodge, because they knew that the vast majority of the community would "shun" them. But you know, increasing the gay and lesbian population could only HELP, right?
