I agree with Angela - I have seen condos go pet-less, but never reverse.
There are several buildings on the Galt that allow pets. And even when as condo does vote to turn pet-less (doesnâ€™t happen to often though), existing pets are typically grandfathered in. That has led some dogs and cats I know of to develop near-miraculous lifespans of 25 years or more.

Most older buildings in Fort Lauderdale don't allow dogs. They were built at a time when the market was middle aged people planning for retirement, and the developers thought that a no pet policy would attract more buyers who were petless. Today of course we know that pets are good for people of all ages.
