Do freight trains run on the tracks next to Woodrow in the Crestview area?

Do freight trains run on the tracks next to Woodrow in the Crestview area? If no freight trains run on it, has anyone experienced noise/vibrations from the CapMetro light rail testing on that track?

We are looking at buying a house that has the tracks in its backyard. We want to make sure we're not making a mistake on this house.

I used to live 2 houses from the tracks at Duke & Woodrow. The tracks run directly behind the houses on Woodrow from Anderson to Grover. This line will be the light rail running down to a station at Crestview Station at Lamar & Airport. Here's a helpful link: http://allsystemsgo.capmetro.org/capital-metrorail.shtml

You may be backed up to the new Crestview station with that address. I suspect that you are. If that anwers is yes, then there are going to be a lot of trains in the future.. light rail.

Can you see the tracks or is there a retainer wall, or greenbelt with trees? If so you should be fine. Since it's only a freight train runs several times a day for a few minutes. remember to purchase a home work with realtor you must be pre-approved to submit an offer.
