Considering purchase of townhome at Willow Bend built by Nic Zawarski & Sons. Feedback re:builder & location?

We're thinking of relocating to Bethlehem, PA to be nearer to family on Long Island. Obviously we're looking at a lesser expensive area than Long Island. In particular, does anyone know if area near Willow Bend floods and is it a safe area? Thanks for any info.

You might want to consider both Bethlehem, Palmer and Forks Township particularluy the first to due to access to Routes 33 and I-78. There are townhome developmemts and adult communities, if you are interesed it those, in the area.

Nic Zawarski & Sons at Willow Bend are well respected and reputable builders. As far as saftey and water problems are concerned you should have no issues. The property is not on any flood plain and the community is extremely safe. If you are not to familiar with the Lehigh Valley you can pass up on some great neighborhoods and potential money savings deals. But no matter where you move to getting into Long Island is always a hassel. Good Luck to you and your family, if you have any questions about the area or commuting to NYC please feel free to call me I am A full-time Realtor with Century 21 Pinnacle.

Hi Gloria, I would ask the builder is the area is prone to flooding. You can also ask residents that are already residing there. If you are working with a realtor, you can have the realtor research this for you. As far as being a safe neighborhood go on to the website for the area the home is in. Such as Bethlehem township, bethlehem, ect. The webside will usually have crime stats on it. I have heard nothing negative about the builders of this developement. I Hope this helped and if I can be of any assistance please don't hesitate to call. Realtors often work with builders of new construction.
Good luck to you,
