People either bought there homes when the market was high or refinanced at an inflated value thinking the property would continue to increase in value but unfortunately that was not the case. There are now a lot of short sales and bank owned properties. It is a great time for investors and first time buyers. As long as the offers are reasonable and the buyer is patient.

Oh. the home to which you refer is 2 BR with a highway address and specifically says it has interior damage and needs TLC. Certainly, it won't be priced at 'market' value.

We all know the condition of the economy, and you are entering the slower season. Those homes that were priced incorrectly will linger, thus giving you the illusion of many homes with aggressive sale prices.

If you are saying there are too many homes for sale
I have to disagree inventory is very low right now.
