I believe it is based on a little more than selling price. Please contact an insurance agent to get that question answered.

I recommend calling Phil Abatelli of Abatelli Insurance located 2455 Francis Lewis Boulevard
Flushing, NY 11357-4094. (516) 352-1881.

Phil represents a lot of companies and would be happy to explain how it works.

Hi Maria, It all depends on the size of the house (sqaure footage) attached, semi or detached, the age of the house, if it is brick or frame, any updates, new boiler or electrical, new roof ,etc.etc. your looking at approximately $1000.00 -$1400.00 for the year, that does not include flood insurance if you are in a flood zone. You can also ask your manager- with your specifics- he/she can give you a better answer/or call your insurance agent..Terry K 718-614-3167 or TKorahais@elliman.com

If you are a licensed real estate agent, not sure why the question--it really should be asked to any insurance agent...
