The easiest and free way to search for foreclosures is to contact any local Realtor. We can do a complete search of the multi-list data base using your price range and area, and then show you the interiors of the homes that interest you the most. You can link to RE/MAX's website at http://www.remax.com, too. For more information and/or a free search, send an email to Virginia.Stump@remax.net.

Sort of. There really is no one site that has all the information. RealtyTrac positions themselves as such, but their information is highly inaccurate, not complete, and they cost money. Your best bet is to look on the individual sites of the entities that have foreclosures to sell. Here are some:

Hudhomestore.com – Official website for searching for Government owned homes

Bidselect.com – Another site that has REOs

Homepath.com - Fannie Mae owned homes

Homesteps.com – Freddie Mac owned homes

Gohoming.com - Another site that has REOs

reo.wellsfargo.com/WBREOHome.aspx - Wells Fargo REOs

These are just a few, but Fannie and Freddie are the biggest. You will be able to search plenty with these sites.

Hope that helps.
