Yes, this home is still for rent, however this listing appears to be a fraud.

You should work with a competent local realtor to help you in your search. There are too many Fake listings designed to rip you off for your deposit and first months rent, and this appears to be one of them.

As the others here are stating; if it sounds to good to be true it most likely is and that is the case with this "home for lease". The home is on the market, but not at what the listing you are questioning is asking.

Never send and money in advance to anyone to rent or lease a home. There are too many reports of people being scammed by sending funds to a PO Box or Overseas. IF a potential Landlord asks you to send money in the form of a Pre-Paid VISA/Master Card/Debit card DO NOT DO IT. Once you purchase one of these cards and deliver it to the individual it will be lost forever. Most stores now will only allow the purchase of these pre-paid cards by Cash or ATM Card; no checks or Credit Cards are accepted.

Working with a Realtor is a better and Safer process than trying to do it on your own. I have included a link to my website if you would like to search for homes to rent or lease. Hi Kevin,

The previous entries are correct. Run from this one. If it seems to good to be true....it is too good to be true. You will not find a house for rent in any of the Torrance city zip codes for under $1500/ month and that would be for a minimum sized home not three bedrooms or more. Also be careful to notice that the city of Torrance does not include Torrance P.O. zip codes of 90502 and some of 90501. This section known as P.O. stands for post office since the Torrance post office serves these areas of Los Angeles City and County.

Hello Kevin, this particular link is a scam listing at that price. You have to be careful for rental scams these days. The rentals in 90505 start from $1,650 for 2bd 2ba condos and the single family homes start from 3bd 2ba for $3,200 which is the one your inquiring on and up. The purchase start from 465k for 3bd 2ba single family home. Do you need RENT vs BUY listings emailed to you to study and compare? What cities are you considering, minimum number of bedrooms and the maximum payment your looking to achieve? You may even qualify to buy FHA from a minimum 580 fico score and 3.5% down or as low as half percent down payment program. You may qualify to buy with minimum out of pocket expenses and pay less than rent in some cities.
