Dear Veronica:

I have straight from the IRS a questions and answers on the Tax incentives..along with the official form's and their information that I can email to you if you wish. That way you can read it and consult with your CPA/Accountant as to your particular situation. Please advise what will work for you.

It is $6500 or 10% of the purchase price for those who are eligible. Several answers gave you web site to verify for youself. Remember the contracts have to be written by 4/30, but do not have to close until 6/30.

It is quite a n opportunity for a move up buyer.

Here's a good link, Veronica. As I understand the legislation, it's a credit for 10% of the purchase price up to $65K for move up buyers. Please call or email if I may answer any questions you have or help in any way. Good Luck!
