I agree, you need to contact a lender to figure out what your payments would be. There are several scenarios that will determine your monthly payment. I work with a few good lenders as well as have an in house lender that would be able to assist you.

Contact a mortgage broker for the area, you will need review your entire financial information involves credit scores, debt ratio, employment history, downpayment, short/long term goals for home ownership, insurance, taxes.

Difficult for any real estate agent comment if so could be not to your benefit. Keep in mind that each year of home ownership you also receive tax benefits.

Mortgage broker will provide a lender approval letter to you furnish your real estate agent will assist you in submitting an offer on any property you find.

the monthly payment will depend on your down payment, interest rate and sale price. You need to talk to a mortgage broker before you shop for a home otherwise you are wasting your time.
