It takes as much time as u give it..
When u make the offer put an expiration date on it.so the seller knows how much time they have
and will take u seriously..

If the property is bank owned, usually you may hear something in 2-3 days. If it is a short sale, depending on the servicer, investor and who is working the short sale, could be anywhere from 30 days to months.

As stated ot very long.......hours to a few days depending on who the owner is. You can put on the offer a deadline for which you want a response or the offer becomes vcoid yet most people do not want to make such an arbitrary date.

It depends. If its a regular sale, you should be able to find out that day or the next. Foreclosure takes 48hrs.
