Hello Molly,

My name is Shane Haas and my partner is Nate Harimoto. Please visit our bio here on Trulia. There is a great diversified group of agents that service Simi Valley. Even here on Truilia you can find good agents that are willing to help you anyway they can.

I was born and raised here in the area and my partner has lived here since 1980. I know the schools first hand as my partner knows the schools from a father's standpoint. As relocation specialists we have helped many people in relocating into the area.

When searching for an agent look for someone that not only knows the area, but someone that blends well with you and your family. In addition, look for an agent that understands relocating a family.

We wish you all the best and please feel free to contact us.

Very tuly yours,

Shane & Nate

Hi Molly, I took a moment to look up the home that you attached to your inquiry. I am not only a Realtor but I lived for many years at 1418 Graham St, which is literally around the corner from the home on Anderson that caught your interest. The school there is Parkview. It is a neighborhood school that is very close walking distance to the home on Anderson.

I have lived in Simi Valley almost all of my adult life. Not only am I a top producing Realtor in Simi and surrounding areas but I have two young children, ages 2 and 10. The oldest attends public school here. School are a very important part of your decision to make a move when you will be attending elementary schools.

If you want to contact an agent, I would welcome your call and there is certainely no obligation to work with the first person you talk to. Another thing I would recommend is that if you are considering an agent, from trulia or another resource, you could read about them in their bio but also, look at the answers that they have given to other people who have had questions. Consider the way that they communicate and pick based on a sense of compatibility from what you read. Blogging give you a chance to see that.

Hi Molly,
There are lots of agents in Simi Valley. You can interview a few agents to see who would be the best fit for you. I have lived in Simi Valley for 32 years and my children have gone through the Simi Valley Unified School system. Simi is a great place to live. You can go to my site and check out the community information and the local schools. If you have any other questions about the area, feel free to contact me.

Hi Molly,
You should plan to interview several local agents ... I can refer you to several of the top-notch agents who know Simi inside & out. In the interim, here's a quick link (below) to Local Schools & Community information (comparisons based on zip codes). The Anderson property has a permitted guest house, too. Good luck in your home search!
