According to the seller's property disclosures the basement leaked Spring 2010, no repairs were made.
They said water can enter during heavy, but they say it drains appropriately. Please email me if you would like me to send you a copy of the full seller's property disclosure report. I'm sorry, but I was unable to attached it to this forum.

I am not familiar with the specific basement, but am quite familiar with leaky basements. InCentral Ky, where there is a great deal of under ground geologic structure, such as caves, springs and even rivers, many properties take water. It does create a problem insofaras finishing a basement, but generally, effective sump pumps generaly handle that effectively. It might create a need for dehumidification of the basement, whichis not a huge problem. Also, most of these issues can be addressed by any of the "dry basement" companies, but that is never inexpensive. If i can be of assistance you can email me at

The sellers disclosure states the basement did leak during a very heavy rain we had this past spring. Please contact me to take a look inside this home. Angela Lewis

A home inspection would help you to determine this.
