Hello! Your definition of a lot of work and my definition of a lot of work may be two different things. I suggest that you tour the home, if you haven't done so already, and get a general contractor out with you before you even make any offers. Get the Licensed Contractor to give you estimates to see if it makes financial sense to move forward before you submit an offer and pay for a Home Inspection.

I hope this answered your question! If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me by the ways below.

Unfortunately none of us can really answer with accuracy; however a home inspection conducted by a licensed expert would reveal any extensive repairs, if any. If your interest in the property is high, consider scheduling a showing, see all firsthand....

Says it needs tlc, that can mean many things. It's a short sale so generally the condition should be better than an REO. Why don't you make an appointment to go see it, it doesn't cost anything and then you can rely on your own eyes rather than other people's opinions. You can make the appointment through any realtor, I would suggest that you get a buyer's agent that will be working for you but paid by the seller.
