In response to Karen below, when I viewed the home Saturday, the stair railing had been extended so it is no longer open as it appears in the photos. The bank is reviewing offers on this home today.

In addition to the repairs listed by the other agents, you might want to have the stairs looked at as they appear not to code, and a safety hazard with the open stair and lack of hand rail. The home may not go FHA but it could go FHA 203k which is a loan that allows you to add repairs to the loan amount to qualify for FHA. Talk to your lender more about this loan to see if it is right for you. Yes, this home will not go FHA. Some of the items that need repair:
Exterior siding issues
Possible pest work
Possible roof work
Fence repair
Replace flooring
It also has a very nice recently remodeled kitchen with beautiful tile. Two wood burning stoves and an open floor plan. A large lot llends to this homes potential for garden area or relaxing.
Also it is a rural residence and the neighbors have chickens if that is an issue for you.
I would be happy to send you a list of available homes. Feel free to call or email me.

Good Morning,

Yes, it does need improvements, It looks like it has some water damage on one part of the floors, not bad but this home will not be able to get FHA Financing. If you would like to take a look at it, let me know.
