Probably not. But, most of it is wooded. The street is pretty busy though. If all you need is a house like that on one acre, you shoud consider looking into Wall Twp. They're a dime a dozen there. If you would like me to send you a few, reach out to me via Trulia or my website below.

Highly unlikely. the property exists in a particular zone which dictates current use. To carve off one acre, the planning and zoning board would have to approve the creation of a new tax Block and Lot. More importantly, they'd have to approve the use of the remaning acreage, which would require a plan that wouldn't harm neighbors, benefit the town, and conform to the long-term plan.

As you see, something that sounds simple enough in theory, is quite another matter in practice, involving government boards, legal counsel and engineering studies and the funds to make it all happen.
