Contact your insurance agent, they will be able to pull the property and tell if there have been any claims

If you own the property you may be able to order a CLUE report. Here's a link to some information.

when you are considering buying a home, one of the protections in the St Louis Board of Realtors standard contract is that the buyer has 10 days from contract acceptance to check and see if the home is insurable. That is done by contacting your insurance agent and asking that person to check the database that is shared by the insurance companies but is NOT available to the general public. The information on individual claims is NOT given to the buyer, but the insurance agent uses it to evaluate if a home has had so many claims against the home that it can no longer be insured and can provide that general information to the buyer. That is PART of the process, the other part is that some insurance companies will send someone out to look at the home and determine if the homes current condition is insurable.
