If you are still asking about the Camino Pelicano property, I believe this is a bogus ad. If I can help you find a legitimate rental, I'll be glad to help you. My email address is jacquieagent@gmail.com.

I agree with Jacquie. I would definitely contact a Realtor or property management service in town to give you the real scoop.

Dear Stacey,

I'm disappointed to tell you that this looks like either a scam or a typo. More likely a scam because it's advertised as residing in the wrong neighborhood. There are lots of rental scams posted on craigslist as well as other sites, especially in the Palm Springs area for a few years now. A home of this size, caliber and even in its actual neighborhood of Sun Villas, is likely to rent for upwards of $1800 per month for a long-term lease.

To avoid getting ripped off and wasting your time, I suggest working with a Realtor or a local rental agency, such as Village Property Management. You can rest assured this way that you can apply for only legitimate rentals and stay safe.

I work with rentals as well and you are welcome to call me at 760-464-1205 or email me at jacquieoagent@gmail.com.
