2106 Reever, the trees in this yard are a danger to the home and surrounding properties.

Asked by poshouse, Arlington, TX Wed Apr 10, 2013

2106 Reever, the trees in this yard are a danger to the home and surrounding properties. They have taken out electrical lines and other utility line too many time to count. Owner said he would address the issue and NEVER did.

Persistently 'badger' the utility company. Express the 'sparks' that are visible in wind/rainy days. Document your calls.

This worked for us. ONCOR came out and REALLY trimmed the trees back after I mentioned the sparks!

I understand your frustration on this issue. You can as was said before contact the city, but you might also consider contacting the utility company, they have crews hat trim trees that have the potential to cause damage to power lines. Best of luck to you!
