You have received two other answers to this question regarding the taxes and offers to assist you with homes in Eastchester.
The reason the taxes are so high is because of the year this home was built, 2000. I would like to take this opportunity to provide some additional information for your consideration. The home is built on a corner lot and the footprint of the house takes up the majority of the property, leaving a very small yard. It is also on the corner of White Plains Post Road (a.k.a. Route 22) and Leewood Drive. This is a busy intersection. Prior to this home being built, there was a small, commercial building on the property that housed an insurance agency. The original structure was torn down and this home was built.
I am very familiar with Eastchester and the surrounding areas in Westchester County. My family has strong roots in the community going back to my mother and grandmother's families. When I work with buyers, I make sure I understand what your needs and wants are in your home. The financial piece of home ownership is an important consideration and I work with my clients to find the best match between all the pieces of the real estate puzzle.
I hope this information helps and if I can be of assistance to you and your family, please contact me at:
