What's the selling price and why is it listed as 1300sqft when it's more than that?

Best bet is to talk to the York County Assessors Office. They can tell you the recorded sales price, sales date, bedrooms, square feet..etc.

The selling price is not listed in the MLS property search, so it may have been sold after the listing expired. The square footage is listed in the public record as just over 1300 square feet because there is a large basement area that is also 1300 square feet, which does not legally count as "livable space" in determining square foot.age Without seeing the rest of the home's layout, it's difficult to determine where the remaining 200+ square feet come into play. This could be based on an estimate, or if it does not specifically state the source of measurement, either the county record or square footage that incorporated the basement may have additional space added to get the figure given. It's always best, if there is a discrepancy, to get the correct measurement, which can be done by an appraiser either independently or with a full home valuation.
