I have some great friends with kids that live in the area. Since the home is in Minneapolis -- here is a website that you can look up the information you are looking for:

http://www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/police/crime-statistics/

Best of luck and keep us posted on your decision - the home looks very nice.

Laura -
You can also view crime stats for this neighborhood on my website - http://www.webdigs.com and seach by MLS #

I am pasting a link to the report here : http://tinyurl.com/dbhsta

For the crime stats, just scroll to the bottom of the report. This is something that you can do in addition to calling the local police dept.

The best way to determine this is to contact the local police department and get a crimes report. As Realtors we are really not able to comment on that. But we can point you in the right direction. Also, you visit the MN Department of Corrections Website at http://www.corr.state.mn.us or call them at 651-361-7200 for information regarding Predatory Offenders who may live near the subject property.
