Original Escala HOA fees (the 27 homes between Via Marta and Gerald Ford) currently pay $278 per month. That is scheduled to scale down slightly at buildout to $250.

The 30 new homes being built in Escala North will have a separate HOA. Dues initially will be $295 per month and are scheduled to gradually drop as more homes are built and sold to about $199 per month.

The HOA fees go to pay for the maintenance of the gates, all of the landscaping at the entrance and around the perimeter of the property, the exterior privacy walls, the private streets, the flood control basins and the management company.

Hello Jackie -

Another night owl!

The short answer is $461 in HOA fees for this area. But, you will also be responsible for the land lease of $110 per month, for a total of $571.

Additionally, because it is an already approved short sale, this purchase would be possible to close in 30-40. days. Mission Hills Country Club is a development that comes with lots of amenities and the HOAs here, as you may have read, include outside maintenance landscaping and trash pickup. Basic cable and insurance are also part of those fees.

It's a beautiful area with a number of separate communities that blend beautifully, is very well-located near the center of the desert and close to all activities, restaurants and entertainment.

It's a great choice.
