What is driving the increase of home listings in Casey Key? Is there a fresh water availability issue? or Sewage piping/handling availability issue?

The increase in home listings is a signal that home sellers think the market has improved to list their homes at higher prices, and that there is higher demand from buyers.

Buyers should keep in mind that the Casey Key home seller is not typical of the market, ie., is less likely to be a distressed seller compared to the overall real estate market.

There is no fresh water or sewage availability issue, as public water and sewer are available to all residents of Casey Key.

I think the upsurge in prices is bringing out sellers who wanted to sell but didn't want to put their home on the market until conditions were more favorable. I think you are seeing this a little more in all segments. Demand also tends to drop off slightly during the summer months in Florida which can create a few opportunities for those buyers looking for the best time to buy.

Our agency overall has seen an increase in listings recently in Charlotte and Sarasota counties.
