This unit is actually priced at $4000.00 per month on MLS, and not $1500.00.
Please be careful. this may be fraud.

The bulk of the inventory in Boston becomes available for September 1st. June 1st is also a date that
has a larger selection of properties to choose from. If the apartment in the above mentioned question rents before May 1st, it would be possible to find something similar in style for a May 1st move in. However,a two bedroom apartment for $1,500 a month with over 1500 square feet is unheard of in the South End. If this actually the rent for a 2 bedroom apartment, it would be wise to go ahead rent two months ahead of your May 1st move date. An apartment like this should rent for $3,500/month.
It seems too good to be true!

This place looks available however the listing price is incorrect. The unit is available 5/1/13 for $4000

There is some very misleading information, I would be careful.

Actually, be cautious.
The tax records indicate a different name as the owner.
And in the link you asked about there are two different phone numbers.
267-825-7136 does not return anyone nemaed Eddy.
925-314-5373 does not return anyone nemaed Eddy.

This may be a case of a false rental.

The rent seems suspiciously low. Consult an Agent to find correst information out for you. As well, the market in Boston moves very quickly so, you should remain open to renting a month before your move in date if you find the right place to call home.

Rents usually move very quickly as there is a shortage of inventory. The best thing you can do is work with a South End Rental Realtor to find out the timeline of this home and see how it can work for you.

PS This price seems too good to be true .. 1,500 sq ft plus parking and outdoor space... seems like buyer beware to me.

You should contact the listing agent directly. Sometimes the landlords are willing to negotiate. The info for the tenant is write there on the far top right of the trulia listing page.
