This property sold for $248K about a year ago, so I'm confused as to how the $270K price was arrived at.

The MI market has dropped about 30% on average since 2006, and prices have continued to fall through the end of 2009. Unless there was substantial upgrading done to the house or property, I fail to see how the seller or agent can justify a price INCREASE during this depressed market. My own SEV dropped about 20% from 2009 to 2010, so I will only be interested in properties that reflect the realities of the current depressed market. I will not take a bath on my house and pay a premium for another.
